Hannah Roessler is passionate about plants and has a deep commitment to food sovereignty issues. She earned her MA in Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria, where she explored how organic farmers in the Pacific Northwest perceive climate change and adapt to changing environmental conditions at the farm-level. Her current research interests also span agroecology, community engagement in food security, permaculture, and traditional land-management and cultivation techniques. Hannah has international permaculture and farming experience, having developed and delivered programs on sustainable food production, food security and health, and having led workshops on plant propagation, cultivation and care, ethnobotany and herbal medicine-making.
